Current project - Jan 2005

All of our boats are semi-custom and built to order, we work closely with each customer to design their boat according to their specifications.

The layout of the current hull is still being designed, there is ample time for your input on layout and interior woods for joinery.

The power plant for the current project boat is a 490 Hp Cummins E Diesel with common rail injection (read more about this in our technical articles tab).

Hull Construction:
  • All our hulls are hand laid up solid fiberglass, full keel. Balsa cored hulls vacuum bagged available.
    20 mil ISO gel coat
  • Two layers of 1 ½ oz mat skin in polyester resin.
  • Vinylester resin used below waterline, to prevent osmotic blistering.
  • Hull laminate is hand laid (machine catalyzed) stitched biaxial glass cloth in polyester resin.
  • Skeg is solid glass laminate.
  • Stringers are wood encapsulated in fiberglass. Engine stringers are laminated plywood core encapsulated in fiberglass.

Deck Construction:

Running Gear:

  • Engines are mounted on aluminum angle brackets with a gel coated finish drip pan under. All bilge surfaces will be gel coated.
  • Drip less stuffing boxes are standard.

Tanks:

Fuel tanks are aluminum, fully baffled and placed above the stringers to allow air to fully circulate around to prevent corrosion.
