Company profile:

Our manufacturing building in Boxborough
Our marine service yard in New Bedford
Chauncey Creek Boats has been in the works for quite some time. When Adam Reed, founder and the company’s President decided to realize his dream he put his plan into action and hasn’t looked back.

Adam, a mechanical engineer by trade, has been an avid boater all his life. From his early days off Stonington CT sailing his J22 to the countless days running his Cape Dory around Buzzards Bay and the Islands, Adam has North East boating in his blood. From spending so much time on and around the water, Adam feels he truly understands what people are looking for in a boat. We bring fresh ideas to an industry that has historically not kept up with technology. For example, Chauncey Creek Boats will design their boats using the latest Computer Aided Design (CAD), a 3D solid model computer program that is destined to change the way boats are designed and built. This fresh approach to a centuries old industry is sure to turn heads. We believe this technology will allow Chauncey Creek Boats to design and build quality Down East yachts far less expensively while reducing delivery intervals by as much as one half.

Our yacht construction facility is centrally located in Boxborough Massachusetts in an 11,000 square foot manufacturing building, making it convenient to all of the North East.

Our full service yard is located on the water in New Bedford Massachusetts with full service and repair.

We offer full sales, service and repair on every Chauncey Creek Boat.

Our goal is not to produce one hundred boats per year. But to use the latest technology to carefully design and hand build custom, high quality Down East Yachts. Each yacht will be a reflection of old world craftsmanship built for the discriminating yachtsmen.
